Bitget support of TRC20-USDT Deposit&Withdrawal
Dear Bitget users,
To meet users’ multifaceted needs and community feedback, Bitget will support deposit & withdrawal of #TRC20 base USDT(TRC20-USDT)by #TRON and #Tether. Deposit and withdrawal of TRC20-USDT will be enabled on 15:00 Sep 18, 2020(UTC+8)
TRC20-USDT is the USD-pegged stablecoin issued by Tether on the TRON network. The token will be able to complete issuance, holding and transfer via smart contract on TRON, with a completely free and transparent process, zero transfer fee, and instant delivery.
Going forward, Bitget will support deposit & withdrawal of USDT in three forms: Omni-USDT, ERC20-USDT and TRC20-USDT. Please make sure you check and select the right form for the USDT deposit and withdrawal.
What’s the difference in Three USDT Chain: OMNI, ERC20 and TRC20?
When making a USDT transfer, many users are presented with a choice of three different chain types that are available, at which point users may face the situation that they don’t know which chain type to choose when depositing and withdrawing. The differences between the three different chain types are described in detail.
USDT-OMNI is the USDT issued by Tether based on the BTC network. The currency deposit address is the BTC address; the deposit and withdrawal will be taking place on the BTC network. The protocol used by USDT-Omni is the Omni layer protocol built on the BTC blockchain network.
USDT-ERC20 is the USDT issued by Tether based on the ETH network. Its deposit address is the ETH address and its deposit and withdrawal use the ETH network. The protocol of USDT-ERC20 is the ERC20 protocol.
TRC20-USDT is the USDT issued by Tether based on the TRON network. The currency deposit address is the TRON address, and the deposit and withdrawal will be taking place on the TRON network. The TRC20-USDT uses the TRC20 protocol.

Note: Since the USDT in the three networks are not interoperable, users should carefully check if the address is correct when depositing and withdrawing.
In order to avoid unnecessary losses due to wrong address, special attention should be paid to the different address styles of the three types of chains.
